Merced County is situated near the geographical center of the great San Joaquin Valley and is considered one of the world’s most important agricultural regions. Covering 1,984 square miles with approximately 82% of the land in farms or cattle ranches. Because of our Mediterranean climate, productive soils and water distribution system, our farmers produce over 110 different agricultural products on the approximately 1.1 million acres of farm and rangeland in the county (UC Cooperative Extension, 2011). Our site on S. Highway 59 is located just on the edge of town, making it easily accessible to those traveling from more rural parts of the county. The Merced site houses most typical in season crop protection products, bagged fertilizers, and animal health supplies for the dairy market. We work in conjunction with our warehouse to the north to supply both liquid and dry bulk fertilizers, large quantity orders or arrange special delivery of products.
Located in Lyon County, Nevada, Our Yerington branch is the recent home to what was the Ranch Supply located on Hwy 339. By consolidating these two locations we have been able to increase operational efficiency and make significant site improvements.
